Yanis Caillaud is a French-Chinese graphic artist and fashion historian residing in New York City. Born in Shanghai, an equivalent to New York City in its diversity and cultural exchanges, topics of trans-culturation, globalization and orientalism have formed the basis of his educational pursuits.

Graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Studies as of May 2023 with a concentration in “The Agency Making of Fashion and Art within Marginalized Communities,” his experiences within the fashion industry and art historical circles continue to form and influence his professional and creative process.
